2020 was a year without precedent and the impacts on FCS, our employees, and our clients are still being felt. For FirstCarbon Solutions (FCS) and ADEC Innovations ESG, it has been a time of solidifying our presence in the industry, reframing challenges as opportunities, and doubling down on our capabilities and strengths.
We have a unique opportunity to lean into the uncertainty and learn from these critical challenges while designing a more sustainable path for the future. With a willingness to listen, learn, and collaborate, we are successfully navigating through it together. We have quickly and seamlessly reshaped how we work, communicate, and socialize, developing a more flexible and more employee-oriented culture that places us in a more resilient position.
One of the new ways we will be more effective in communication to our teams is through a monthly internal newsletter. Rather than sending multiple emails every month, we opted to consolidate communications, tools, and updates into a one stop shop — so our employees do not have to search for the information they need.
In closing, as we look ahead to the remainder of this year, we are excited to increase our virtual connections with each other and our industry presence while continuing this spirit of reinvention and innovation — and the continued health, growth, and prosperity of our teams.
