Madera Pedestrian Improvements PES
FirstCarbon Solutions (FCS) provided environmental planning services to the City of Madera for three projects with Federal Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) funding. The projects included the Raymond Road Shoulder Paving Project, the Pedestrian Facilities Construction Project at Gateway Drive, and the intersection improvement of Howard Road at Westberry Boulevard.
FCS prepared a Preliminary Environmental Study (PES) for each project pursuant to the Caltrans Local Assistance Procedures Manual. FCS then attended a field review meeting and completed additional technical memos and analyses to support each PES as directed by Caltrans District 6 Office of Local Assistance. All three projects were reviewed and approved by Caltrans for funding and implementation.
