Environmental Services for The Conservation Center for Wildlife Care

FCS prepared technical studies (cultural resources, biological resources, air quality, and noise) in support of The Lawrence Ellison Foundation (LEF) original application submittal in 2013 and also reviewed provided comments on the County’s 2014 EIR on behalf of the LEF. Following the unanimous approval of the project, FCS is now providing biological, regulatory, project management, and entitlement processing services to support the proposed Conservation Center for Wildlife Care Project in Santa Clara County.

As an extension of FCS’s Biological Resources Management services, our experienced ISA-certified arborists help you navigate tree assessment, inventory, protection and management plans, project due diligence, and more. We provide expertise in the field to survey tree inventories, determine overall tree health, diagnosis, tree selection, construction monitoring, and more, all while coordinating with CEQA, NEPA, and other local, state, and federal guidelines.

We understand the various challenges that our clients often face. As a result, we provide our clients with environmental compliance services that extend into all areas of project needs and developments. Tree Inventory Report for 2940 Alum Rock Avenue Project, City of San José

Pre-construction Surveys and Permitting Services for the Oroville Walmart Supercenter Project

FCS conducted nesting bird surveys, prepared survey reports, and secured required regulatory permits for the Oroville Walmart Supercenter Project.

CEQA for Healdsburg 110 Dry Creek Rd. Hotel and Housing

FCS prepared an IS/MND for a 126-room hotel and low-income housing development at 110 Dry Creek Road in the City of Healdsburg. The Applicant proposes to demolish five existing structures and construct a four-story, 84,075-square-foot hotel and 39 affordable multi-family units totaling 84,534 square feet on the 3.87-acre site.

Santa Ana River Trail Environmental Assessment

The Santa Ana River Trail Project proposes to construct a hiking, bicycle, and equestrian trail along the Santa Ana River in Riverside County. To date, FCS has analyzed several portions of the trail, including (I) the portion that would extend from Hidden Valley County Park through the Prado Basin, and then to the Orange County line; and (II) the Corona-Norco-Eastvale segment.
